Sheet 02 — Construction

Constructed, not drawn

Five distances define the mark. Switch the layers off and what is left is a set of measurements; switch them on and the measurements are the mark. Nothing here is placed by eye except where the sheet says so.

48 and 240 resolve onto the 8 lattice. 68, 78 and 98 do not — the wings are set optically. A sheet that claims everything is on the grid is a sheet nobody measured.

Sheet 03 — Index

Every number on this sheet is a real distance

Four constructions, and each one measures something the page itself is using right now — the bracket inset, the hatch pitch, the clear space, the aperture. Read a figure, measure the drawing, and the two agree.

Clear space

The mark holds 48 on every side of its 240 box. Nothing enters that band — not a rule, not a caption.

Fig. 03.2
501020

Inset aperture

50 across, overhanging the 20 pitch by 10 on each axis. Neither number sits on the 8 lattice — the aperture is cut against the grain on purpose.

Fig. 03.3
2016

Corner bracket

16 of arm, set 20 in from the trim, clearing a 24 corner radius. Four per plate, never three.

Fig. 03.4
45°20

Blueprint hatch

A 20 tile struck at 45°, offset half a tile on the second pass. The sheet's only texture.

Sheet 04 — Type

Two faces, three roles, no more

Inter carries display and body — layered by size, never by weight, because only 400 and 500 are loaded. JetBrains Mono carries anything a machine would also read: sheet numbers, dimensions, tokens.

Every measure on this sheet is a real distance. Read a number, measure the drawing, and the two agree — that is the whole discipline.

Sheet 05 — Palette

One light source, above

Six values and no accent colour. Depth comes from two steps of grey and a single pixel of white along every top edge — which is also why the highlight and the paper are nearly the same swatch.

#EFEFF5Paperbackground

The sheet. Every plate is cut from it, so no plate needs a background of its own.

#0F172AInktext-primary

Titles, specimens, dimension figures. Never a fill.

#8A8A93Strokeborder · surface

Every construction line, tick and extension. Held at 0.5px so it stays annotation.

#E5E5EBFacefigure fill

The lit face of a constructed plane.

#D1D1D4Shadefigure inset

A plane carved below the face. Two steps of grey is the entire depth budget.

#FFFFFFHighlightedge light

One pixel along every top edge. The sheet has exactly one light source, above.

Sheet 06 — Manifest

The frame is on the lattice

Eight tokens. Every gap, inset and corner on this sheet resolves to one of them, and all eight are multiples of the 8 base — which is exactly the claim the mark itself cannot make.

* Quantum Grid is the 8px lattice every layout measure resolves onto. The mark does not — see sheet 02.
